Reading: It Gives Your Brain More Power

I always tell kids to read whenever you can and whatever you enjoy. Reading is probably one of the most fabulous things a person can do for her brain; it's exercise for the mind. Students who tend to be avid readers typically have better focus, are more creative, and usually earn higher grades. Their brains are used to to the stimulation. I read because I truly enjoy it; all the other stuff is just a bonus.
